Pulborough Community Partnership has donated £100 to the Pulborough Brownies from funds raised for the local community at last year’s annual Harvest Fair.
Brownie leader Sue Batchelor said: “We are thrilled to receive the donation and we will let the girls decide what they would like to put it towards. Groups like the brownies are a great way for local children to meet each other and it is lovely to have some extra support”.
Lesley Edwards representing the Pulborough Harvest Fair committee said: “We are delighted to be donating money raised at last year’s fair to a number of well deserving local community projects including the local brownies. Preparations for this year’s fair are already underway and we want it to be bigger and better than ever.”
This year’s fair will take place on September 28 with bookings for stalls are currently being taken.
