CHICHESTER will be the latest city to be visited by The Great Exhibition 2012, as part of the 365 countdown to the London Olympics.
Team GE has embarked on a whistle stop tour of the UK to ask the Nation to nominate the people, places and products that make up the ‘Greats’ of Great Britain.
Nominations are made online at www.thegreatexhibition2012.co.uk.
The Great Exhibition Adventure arrives with camera crew in Chichester at 1pm on Saturday August 13.
The Great Exhibition Adventure team is made up of four young roving reporters Elliot, Casper, Charlie and Miles who have been tasked by The Great Exhibition 2012 founder Julie Benson, to generate 10,000 ‘Greats’ in 14 days.
Their adventure will include daily challenges, including lending a helping hand to worthy local projects.
They will also be competing against each other to become the most popular member of the team by harnessing votes through The Great Exhibition website.
For the duration of the tour, the team will be recording their favourite bits of Britain for a series of mini documentaries.
What they learn and discover, how their perceptions of the nations change as they seek out the treasures of Britain and what they will miss most about their own corner of Britain will be captured.
If there is somewhere the team should visit, then let them know by posting suggestions on The Great Exhibition 2012 blog.
