The language department was a particular strength this year with 82 per cent of grades in French, German and Spanish reaching A to C grades and the GCSE in Latin had a record-breaking 30 out of 32 students achieve an A or A* grade.

Headteacher Ann Fearon said: “Our students should be immensely proud of their achievements and I congratulate them. I would also like to congratulate Hazelwick staff and parents for the fantastic support provided for our students.

“Hazelwick School is a school to be proud of. We are ambitious for our students and that ambition is making a positive different to their futures.”
