The NHA Garden and Local Produce Fair will be opened at 10.30am by BBC Antique Roadshow specialist Dendy Easton on Thursday 15th May at Summer Place, Billingshurst.

New to the fair for 2014 - Visit the valuers and meet Dendy Easton, from Wisborough Green and of Antique Roadshow fame, bring along your collectables for the renowned specialists to value and help raise funds in aid of the New Horizons Appeal on behalf of St Catherine’s Hospice.

The Fair has become regarded as the mini ‘Chelsea’ bringing to West Sussex a wealth of specialist plant growers to chat about plants.

Foodies love the Fair as it offers wonderful tastes, smells and delights to try and purchase, all from local sources.

New for 2014 is the addition of garden art which will enhance any garden and a gardening advisory panel that seek to guide the fair.

Early Birds can enjoy from 8.30am-10.30am a Bubbly Preview Breakfast with tickets at £12.50.

Visitors can enjoy freshly BBQ breakfast of local produced meat, or locally produced muesli, with a glass of bubbles whilst having first pickings of 50 wonderful, specialist plants and locally produced food and drink. Tickets can be purchased by telephoning 01293 447367 or visit www.stch.org.uk/newhorizons for more information.

What one visitor said of the fair last year - ‘I love this event it gets better every year. An event that is well organised with a delightful cross section of goods to purchase. Each year it is a date in my diary to meet up with friend and to shop for plants and a selection of fine foods.’
