Former Liverpool star Harry Kewell wants to prove himself as a coach who can lift teams like Crawley to a higher level

Champions League winner Harry Kewell revealed he wants to help players reach their potential.

Speaking at his first press conference since taking charge of Crawley Town, the former Liverpool star revealed he loves the technical side of the game.

This would be through improving players' skills and the mental side of the game.

Kewell said: "My goal is I love football, I love playing it but I love more about this side of it, the technical side of it, the mind games.

"My goal is to be able to become someone that is able to bring clubs like Crawley up.

"Bringing exciting football, bringing people together and get the best out of people."
