Flodding and fallen trees cause problems for drivers

FLOODING and fallen trees have caused problems across the county this morning (Tuesday).

There is flooding at the Findon bypass by Long Furlong.

One lane is closed on the A27 Chichester bypass eastbound in Chichester between the A259 Fishbourne Road junction and the B2144 Oving Road junction, because of surface water.

Plus the A27 in Tangmere is partially blocked at the A285 junction, because of flooding.

There are fallen trees on various roads, causing delays to traffic.

These include:

- the A29 Shripney Road, Bognor Regis, both ways at Rowan Way.

- A286 Oaklands Way in Westhampnett partially blocked at the Spitalfield Lane junction.

- B2100 blocked in both directions between the B2099 Station Road junction in Wadhurst and the A267 Mayfield Road junction in Mark Cross,

- Selsfield Road in West Hoathly blocked around the Chapel Row junction.

To add to the problems, there is traffic light failure on the A264 at Copthorne Common Road in both directions in Copthorne near the New Town junction.
