Ex-Littlehampton mayor to face fraud trial next year

A four-time former mayor of Littlehampton will stand trial over fraud allegations next year.

Malcolm Belchamber, 69, of East Ham Road, Littlehampton, appeared at Hove Crown Court on Monday for a case management hearing.

Belchamber, a current Independent town councillor for River ward, denies two counts of fraud.

His trial is listed for Monday, June 12 at a location yet to be fixed.
