An elderly woman was injured after a three vehicle crash this afternoon (Wednesday December 23).

Emergency services were called to the A29 Stane Street, at the junction with Haven Road, in Five Oaks, at around 2.50pm.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said the woman suffered a ‘mouth injury’ and was treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken home.

The road was blocked whilst officers dealt with the crash. It has now been re-opened.
