Smart crossbreed Quinn helps tidy up the grooming room at Dogs Trust Shoreham by putting the used towels in a laundry basket.
Staff at the Brighton Road centre say the two-year-old male is a smart dog that will bring a lead when it is time for walkies.
Tracey Rae, rehoming centre manager, said: “He is a handsome chap with lots of love to give.
“Quinn is a smart boy and is eager to learn new things. Quinn is very special and is a real hit with the staff at Shoreham.
“He can be shy around new people so is looking for a home with teens aged 16-plus where he can settle and enjoy his new surroundings.
“His own enclosed garden is essential so he has a secure area to run and stretch his legs, and he would like owners that have a car so he can be driven to quieter walking areas.”
Quinn has a high chase drive so is unable to live with cats or caged animals but would be happy living with another dog.
Tracey added: “He really loves to play. His ideal furry friend would be nice and playful just like him, and who can teach him a few doggy manners as he can be a little excitable around dogs at times.
“He is capable of developing strong, loyal bonds with people, and is affectionate and very smart. He has a special friend who will be happy to have a chat with you so please call the centre ahead of your visit so that we can make sure that they are available.”
