Crawley Wellbeing is on the lookout for new members for two of its disability sports groups and will be holding free sessions for people to have a go before they sign up.
Moving Barriers and Wheels for Wellbeing aim to make sports activities more accessible for children and adults with disabilities and learning difficulties.
Both of the groups are holding a free taster session for potential new members. The free Moving Barriers session will take place on September 14 and the one for Wheels for Wellbeing will be held on September 21.
Moving Barriers enables young people aged between eight and 25 to get active, take part in team games and meet new friends. The sessions, which have been running for more than 10 years, take place on Fridays from 6-7pm in the main hall of K2 Crawley.
The group is run as a partnership between Crawley Borough Council (CBC), The Golden Lion Children’s Trust and other volunteers who have disabilities themselves.
