FIREFIGHTERS were called this morning (April 3) to reports of a diesel spillage on the A286.
West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said the spillage was running all the way from Midhurst to Singleton.
It appears a vehicle travelling along the road had an unknown leak and left a trail along the road, leaving it slippery for drivers.
Drivers should take care as the diesel has pooled on corners. There was little firefighters were able to do about the spill and the matter has been handed to West Sussex highways to manage.
Firefighters were called today at 8.15am.
