A VICTORIAN diamond necklace worth between £3000 and £5000 has been stolen from a Southwick home.

The family heirloom was stolen in the burglary at a house in The Green, Southwick, between 4pm and 8pm on Sunday, December 1.

Police hope to re-unite the owner with her much-loved diamond and pearl necklace and hope photographs of the necklace will jog the memories of anyone who may be offered it or has seen it since the burglary.

Detective Constable Laura Sinden said; “The necklace has been passed down through the family over several generations and its loss has been deeply felt.

“It is of sentimental value well above any monetary value.”
