Cycling proficiency courses for free

FREE cycle training courses run by West Sussex County Council are due to be held over the Easter and Summer holidays.

The Level 2 Bikeability courses – described as “a cycling proficiency for the 21st century” – are suitable for cyclists aged 10 or over.

Cyclists will be taught how to deal with traffic on short journeys such as cycling to school.

The Easter holiday course is running over four days between Monday, April 2 and Thursday, April 5 at the following venues:

Oak Grove College, Worthing

Forest School, Horsham

Pound Hill Junior School, Crawley

Chichester College, Chichester

Warden Park School, Haywards Heath

Each day will last from 10am to 12.30pm.

The Summer holiday course is running over five days between Monday, July 23 and Friday, July 27. They are being held at the same venues from 10am to 12pm.
