‘Watch out for stolen goods’ police warning

BOGNOR Neigbourhood Police Team are advising residents and local businesses to be on the look out for stolen goods that may be for sale.

PCSO Michelle Davies said: “We have been handing out posters in an attempt to encourage people to ask a few more questions if they are offered property for sale at a very cheap price.

“Many stolen goods end up in second hand shops, markets, car boot sales and the advertising pages of local papers as this reduces the chances of them being traced.

“If you suspect someone of selling stolen goods or have any information on where these items are stored then please call Sussex Police on 101 or anonymously via the independent charity, Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
