Violent attack court date set
A MAN accused of violently attacking his ex-partner and a man who was with her in her home, will go on trial at Chichester Crown Court on September 5.
Daniel Taylor, 23, of Anson Road, Goring, was charged with assaulting the man by beating, and inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent on his ex-partner at Worthing Magistrates Court last Thursday.
The court heard that the woman, who was hit in the face multiple times, was left with a fractured jaw in two places. Her injuries left her needing metal plates inserted.
Mr Taylor did not enter a plea.
Bail was granted on the condition he would not contact either victim directly or indirectly.
