Detectives are seeking help from the public in finding two men who robbed a 50-year-old woman just after 6am this morning (Friday March 2) as she walked her dog along East Street in Shoreham.

They have released this CCTV image of two people they want to interview.

The victim was approached from behind by two young men, one of whom tried to pull her to the ground. He verbally threatened her and demanded she hand over money and her mobile telephone.

She offered her phone but the offender didn’t take it and ran off with the second man north towards Buckingham Road.

The suspects are described as both being white, in their late teens to early 20s and of slim build. One wore a blue hoody and a black scarf with white trainers and possibly blue jeans. The second wore a dark coloured hoody and black trousers.
