Police are appealing for witnesses to a series of crimes in a Littlehampton street over one night.
There was a burglary at a house in Kendal Close, Littlehampton, between 12 midnight and 4am on Sunday, 24 June. Contents of a handbag and mobile phones were taken.
A further break-in into a garage and five thefts from cars also happened over that night in the same road.
The majority of the property, mainly small items, including loose change and sunglasses, were recovered, strewn in the streets in Kendal Close, and nearby Timberleys.
Detective Constable Rachael Miles said; “Enquiries are continuing but we have made no arrests so far. Any witnesses or anyone else with information is asked to call 101 quoting serial 0280 of 23/6. Alternatively, call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
“All the crimes specifically targeted property and vehicles which had been left unlocked. We remind local residents to secure their houses and vehicles, especially in these summer months when the weather actually shows signs of warming up.”.
