Police appeal after woman attacked in Crawley woods

Police are investigating the report of an attack of a woman who was walking from Regents Close to Woodmans Hill, Crawley, in the early hours of this morning (Sunday 6 October).

There she was approached by two men who then attacked her in Broadfield Forest sometime between midnight and 12.30am.

The first suspect is described as white with pale skin, 5ft 11in, of skinny build and aged in his late 30s.

The second man is white, very short in height, of medium build and aged in his early 30s.

They were wearing dark clothing and one was believed to be wearing a hat.

Police are keen to trace anyone that saw the woman walking along the route after midnight. It is also believed that a group of women and men may have seen the two suspects on Woodmans Hill at about 12.20am.

Anyone with information or may have seen the victim or the suspects are asked to call police on 101 quoting Operation Ferrous or email contact.centre@sussex.pnn.police.uk
