Police appeal after man found with head injuries

POLICE are looking for witnesses to an incident in a Crawley bar which left a man unconscious with head injuries

At 2am on Saturday (March 17) police and ambulance weere called to the LB1 Bar in Gales Drive, Three Bridges, to a report of a man having been assaulted in the pub.

The 20-year local man was found unconscious on the Parade outside the bar suffering with head injuries and was taken to East Surrey Hospital at Redhill where he is still receiving treatment.

Detective Constable Penny Furtado said; “He is conscious, his condition is currently described as stable and he appears to be making a successful recovery. A 26-year old local man has been arrested and interviewed on suspicion of causing grevious bodily harm, and is currently on police bail until 16 April while our enquiries continue. We know that the area was busy at the time with a number of customers in the bar itself, and we ask anyone who saw what happened to contact us via 101 quoting serial 0003 of 17/3.
