Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a burglary at a house in Hammingden Lane, Lindfield, on Tuesday afternoon (November 13).
The offenders are believed to have gained access to the house by forcing open a side window.
Once inside, they made an untidy search and stole property including cash and jewellery.
A police spokesperson said: “The break-in happened between 1.45pm and 3.20pm whilst the occupants were out.
“A witness has subsequently come forward to say they saw two people in the area who looked out of place and we’re anxious to hear from anyone else who saw anything suspicious at the relevant times.
