Joe Dootson, 22, of Graham Road, Worthing, was given an eight-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, with Rehabilitation Activity Requirement after being found guilty of assaulting a police constable in the execution of his duty in College Gardens, Worthing, on September 19, 2016. He must carry out 150 hours’ unpaid work and must pay £115 victim surcharge, £400 costs.

Robert Turner, 49, of Eirene Avenue, Goring, was jailed for a total of 16 weeks and must pay £115 victim surcharge after being found guilty of assaulting two police constables in the execution of their duty, by punching one in a head lock and raining blows on the female officer while she was on the ground in College Gardens, Worthing, on September 19, 2016.

Christian Benton, 27, of Adur Avenue, Shoreham, was fined £80 after admitting stealing a £50 bicycle in Shoreham on June 10, 2016. He was fined £40 and must pay £30 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting stealing a bicycle wheel in Shoreham on June 10, 2016.

Benjamin Lisher, 21, of Timberleys, Littlehampton, was fined £185 and must pay £30 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting drink-driving (59mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath) on the A283 Northchapel on January 18, 2017. He was disqualified from driving for 15 months.

Richard Williamson, 52, of Meadow Road, East Worthing, was fined £350 and must pay £35 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting drink-driving (51mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath) in Newland Road, Worthing, on January 26, 2017. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months.

Adam Wood, 32, of Langbury Lane, Ferring, was fined £260 and must pay £30 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting drug-driving (4.9ug/l Delta-9-THC) in Palatine Road, Goring, on December 13, 2016. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months.

Ian Hudson, 30, of Greenfields, Wick, was fined £40 after admitting drug-driving (644ug/l benzoylecgonine) in Arundel Road, Littlehampton, on December 3, 2016. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months. He was fined £40 after admitting drug-driving (18ug/l cocaine) in Arundel Road, Littlehampton, on December 3, 2016. He was fined £40 and must pay £30 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting drug-driving (3.9ug/l Delta-9-THC) in Arundel Road, Littlehampton, on December 3, 2016.

Natasha Pettitt, 42, of South Terrace, Littlehampton, was discharged conditionally for 24 months and must pay £15 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting using threatening words or behaviour in The Arcade, Littlehampton, on January 30, 2017. She must pay £450.24 compensation after admitting criminal damage to a table, metal pole and toy dispenser in The Arcade, Littlehampton, on January 30, 2017. She must pay a total of £100 compensation after admitting two charges of assaulting a police constable. She must pay £50 compensation after admitting assault by beating.

Kylie Funnell, 31, of Cheviot Road, Durrington, was fined £120 and must pay £30 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting driving without insurance in Durrington Lane, Durrington, on July 12, 2016. Her driving record was endorsed with six points. She was fined £80 after admitting failing to stop after an accident which caused damage to another vehicle and also admitted driving without due care and attention, and failing to identify a driver when required by police in Shoreham on August 12, 2016, no separate penalties.

Jacob Holmes, 22, of Wiston Avenue, Worthing, was given a community order and must carry out 100 hours’ unpaid work after admitting assault by beating in Worthing on December 25, 2016. He must pay £200 compensation, £185 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Dawid Klingbein, 28, of Surrey Street, Littlehampton, was fined £250 and must pay £30 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting assault by beating in Littlehampton on December 19, 2016.

Sarah Townshend, 38, of Downlands Avenue, Broadwater, was given a community order and must carry out 160 hours’ unpaid work after admitting theft by employee, stealing £5,485.29 from Toy Barnhaus, Worthing, between April 1, 2016, to November 11, 2016. She must pay £2,000 compensation, £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Timothy Davey, 34, of Skylark Rise, Goring, was fined £77, must pay £30 victim surcharge, £85 costs and had his driving record was endorsed with three points after admitting driving over the 60mph speed limit on the A24 Shipley on April 19, 2016. and had his driving record was endorsed with three points. He was fined £155, must pay £85 costs and had his driving record was endorsed with four points after admitting driving over the 30mph speed limit in Hotham Way, Bognor Regis, on June 20, 2016.
