Police are appealing for witnesses to a hit and run near Barns Green, Horsham on Thursday (September 20) at 8.10pm.
What is believed to be a red Peugeot 206 was in collision with a blue Vauxhall Nova on Emms Lane. However, the Peugeot drove off.
The driver of the Vauxhall, a 27-year-old woman from Lingfield in Surrey, and a three-year-old girl were uninjured.
However the other passenger, a 58-year-old woman from Newchapel, Surrey, was injured.
She was taken to East Surrey Hospital to be treated.
PC Iain Lombard said: “We want to appeal to anyone who might have seen a red Peugeot in the area. The vehicle would have damage to it’s bonnet including the radiator as there was fluid left at the scene.”
