The following are results from Sussex Northern magistrates sitting at Horsham and Crawley.

Megan Edwards, 23, of Slim Road, Camberley, was fined £120, with a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and five penalty points added to her licence. She had pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention and to failing to stop and give details after a crash, in Horsham.

Anthony Bunce, 42, of Kempshott Road, Horsham, was given a community order, with a £60 victim surcharge, and £85 costs. He had pleaded guilty to possessing a bladed or pointed object in a public place, causing criminal damage to a car window, and common assault.

Lynne Brookwell, 38, of Kingsfield, Storrington, was fined £220, with £72.50 vehicle excise back duty, and £90 costs. She had been convicted in her absence of keeping an unlicensed vehicle on a public road.

Marcus French, 45, of Penn Gardens, Ashington, was fined £285, with a £28 victim surcharge, and £110 costs. He had been convicted in his absence of being the registered keeper of an uninsured vehicle.

Ian Presswood, 47, of Crawley Road, Horsham, was fined £220, with a £22 victim surcharge, and £90 costs. He had been convicted in his absence of being the registered keeper of an uninsured vehicle.

James Green, 30, of Roman Way, Billingshurst, was given a community order with 100 hours of unpaid work, a £60 victim surcharge, and £85 costs. He had pleaded guilty to common assault in Horsham.

Robert Blegay, 30, of Owlbeech Place, Horsham, was given a community order with a 12 week curfew, a £60 victim surcharge, and £85 costs. He had pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified, and driving without insurance.

Karen Lomax, 42, of Godwin Way, Horsham, was given a six month conditional discharge, with £45 compensation, a £15 victim surcharge, and £85 costs. She had pleaded guilty to theft from Boots in Horsham.

Steven Linden, 35, of Heath Close, Broadbridge Heath, was given a 12 week jail sentence, suspended for a year, with £1,230 compensation, £100 costs, and six penalty points added to his licence. He had pleaded guilty to theft of cash from a sports and social club in Crawley, theft of alcohol from Morrisons in Crawley, two counts of thefts from homes in Crawley, theft of alcohol from Morrisons in Reigate, and to driving without insurance.

Christopher Greathead, 44, of Leeds Close, Southwater, was banned from driving for six months, and fined £880, with £170 costs. He had been convicted in his absence of failing to comply with a traffic light at Buck Barn, and failing to identify a driver suspected of committing an offence.

Nicholas Singh, 54, of Putney Hill, London, was fined £660, with a £66 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and six penalty points added to his licence. He had been convicted in his absence of failing to identify a driver suspected of speeding at Dial Post.

Joshua Birchall, 19, of Spring Gardens, Washington, was fined £120, with a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and six penalty points added to his licence. He had pleaded guilty to driving without insurance at Handcross.

Robert Hudson, 26, of Abbotsleigh, Southwater, was banned from driving for a year, with a £125 fine, a £20 victim surcharge, and £85 costs. He had pleaded guilty to drink driving in Horsham.
