Crawley boss Drummy looking for better home display against Leyton Orient

Reds have lost five out of their last six games at the Checkatrade Stadium, the last being a miserable 3-0 defeat by Crewe Alexandra.

Drummy was pleased with the reaction to that shown last weekend when they drew 1-1 away to Grimsby Town.

He said: "The competitiveness we showed at Grimsby should be with us every game, there is no reason why it shouldn't be there.

"Even if you are jaded, you should be giving me you're all."

He said: "We'll look at Orient and see if there's anthing we can do to stop them.

"We attack with emphasis and we play with power and zest. We have got enough players in the team to hurt them."

Drummy would like an improvement in their home displays.

He said: "It's the early stages of the game when we are playing at home we are more open - away we defend to start. We take the emphasis to the team but we become sloppy.

"It's the back players initially that if they are going to pass they are not too far forward in an attacking position if we lose the ball.

"We want to get back to being a passing side, I think a little fear has crept in which is natural if you are trying to make a transition."

Drummy is keen the club sends the fans home happy from the last few matches of the season, unlike last season when they lost their last eight matches.

He said: "I have had a meeting with the players and said they have to fight, this is our livelyhood here and we have to work hard, if we work hard we will get some wins as we've got some good players here.

"It's important we don't let the season fizzle out and say OK, we're staying up. I want to finish as high as we can.

"Let's stick together and hopefully end the season on a really high note."
