William Baker, 39, of Shadwells Road, Lancing, was jailed for four weeks after being found guilty of assault by beating in Worthing on October 5, 2015, and must pay £80 victim surcharge. He was jailed for a further four weeks, to run concurrently, after being found guilty of a second charge of assault by beating in Worthing on October 5, 2015. He was found guilty of using threatening words or behaviour and failing to surrender to custody, no separate penalty. A suspended sentence imposed on June 4, 2015, was implemented as a four-week prison sentence, to run consecutively. He was jailed for four weeks after admitting stealing goods worth £25.54 from BP in Worthing on November 12, 2015. He was jailed for two weeks, to run concurrently, after admitting assaulting a police constable in Durrington on November 12, 2015. He also admitted being drunk in Brooklands Park on November 12, 2015, and possessing cannabis in Durrington on November 12, 2015, no separate penalty.

David Humphrey, 65, of Ringmer Road, Tarring, was fined £140 and must pay £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting driving on the A24 Findon while unfit through drugs on October 8, 2015. He was disqualified from driving for 16 months. He also admitted possessing cannabis, no separate penalty.

Emma Leake, 20, of Thorn Road, Worthing, was discharged conditionally for 12 months and must also pay £25 compensation, £15 victim surcharge, after admitting assaulting a police constable in Orme Road, Worthing, on December 12, 2015. She also admitted causing £45 damage to a fence panel in Orme Road, Worthing, on December 12, 2015, and must pay £40 compensation, £85 costs.

Melissa Harwood, 36, of King Edward Avenue, Worthing, was discharged conditionally for 12 months and must pay £30 compensation, £15 victim surcharge, £40 costs, after admitting stealing food and alcohol from Tesco Express, Broadwater, on January 11, 2016.

Christopher Way, 34, c/o The Heights, Findon Valley, was given a four-month prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, and must pay £60 compensation after admitting stealing two bottles of Jack Daniels, worth £60, from Sainsbury’s, Worthing, on January 9, 2016. He was given a four-month prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, to run concurrently, after admitting stealing toys worth £99.96 from Argos, Worthing, on December 30, 2015. He was given a second four-month prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, to run concurrently, after admitting stealing a £79.99 model from Toy Bahaus, Worthing, on January 5, 2016. He was given a third four-month prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, to run concurrently, after admitting stealing a £149.99 jacket from Trespass, Worthing, on December 30, 2015.

John Smith, 37, of Ridgeway, Southwick, was fined £120 and must pay £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting stealing 11 car batteries worth £55 in Lancing on September 14, 2015.

Terry Tucker, 30, of Watling Court, Butts Road, Southwick, was fined £120 and must pay £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting after admitting stealing 11 car batteries worth £55 in Lancing on September 14, 2015.

Jayne Jarvis, 31, of Brunswick Road, Worthing, was given a two-week prison sentence, suspended for six months, after admitting stealing food and wine worth £30.60 from M&S, Worthing, on September 21, 2015. She was given a second two-week prison sentence, suspended for six months, to run concurrently and must pay £8 compensation, £72 victim surcharge, after admitting stealing food and wine worth £46.90 from BP in Worthing on September 21, 2015.

Christopher Ryan, 46, c/o Marine Parade, Worthing, was given a two-week prison sentence, suspended for six months, and must pay £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting stealing food and wine worth £30.60 from M&S, Worthing, on September 21, 2015. He was given a second two-week prison sentence, suspended for six months, to run concurrently after admitting stealing food and wine worth £46.90 from BP in Worthing on September 21, 2015.

Luke Blissett, 32, of Loveys Road, Yapton, was fined £82 and must pay £300 compensation, £20 victim surcharge, £500 costs, after being found guilty of driving without due care and attention in Station Parade Car Park, East Preston, on January 23, 2015. His driving record was endorsed with four points.

Paul Willard, 61, of Steyning House, Broadwater Street East, Worthing, was fined £90 and must pay £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting driving over the 30mph speed limit in Broadwater Road, Worthing, on July 4, 2015. His driving record was endorsed with three points.

Kane Johnson, 22, of Tarring Road, Worthing, was discharged conditionally for 12 months and must pay £15 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting using threatening words or behaviour in Worthing on July 4, 2015. He must also pay £275 compensation after admitting destroying a £549 iPhone in Worthing on July 4, 2015, no separate penalty.

Keri-Jane Evans, 28, of William Morris Court, Angola Road, Worthing, was fined £100 and must pay £20 victim surcharge, £50 costs, after admitting failing to identify a driver when required by police in Shoreham on June 24, 2015. She was disqualified from driving for six months.

Sharon McDonald, 51, of Chesterfield Road, Goring, was discharged conditionally for 12 months and must pay £150 compensation, £15 victim surcharge, £570 costs, after being found guilty of assault by beating in Worthing on January 20, 2015.

Catherine Denyer, 48, of Tarrant Street, Arundel, was fined £80 and must pay £20 victim surcharge after admitting driving over the 30mph speed limit in Arundel Road, Littlehampton, on July 27, 2015. Her driving record was endorsed with three points.

Alan Wigley, 49, of The Ostlers, Terminus Road, Littlehampton, was fined £440 and must pay £44 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after being found guilty of driving over the 30mph speed limit in Worthing Road, East Preston, on July 30, 2015. His driving record was endorsed with four points.

Simonas Kazakevicius, 34, of High Street, Littlehampton, was fined £440 and must pay £44 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting driving without insurance in Lyon Street, Bognor Regis, on August 18, 2015. His driving record was endorsed with six points.

Manuel Marrison, 44, of Bramble Lane, Durrington, was fined £220 and must pay £22 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after being found guilty of failing to stop at a red light in Upper Brighton Road, Sompting, on July 27, 2015. His driving record was endorsed with three points.

Victoria Prior, 33, of Kerita House, The Quadrangle, Findon, was fined £660 and must pay £66 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after being found guilty of driving without insurance in Brighton Road, East Worthing, on August 15, 2015. Her driving record was endorsed with six points.
