On Monday, official notice of the next county council election will be published.

All 71 West Sussex County Council seats are up for grabs in the May 2 election. Horsham district has 12 county council divisions - Billingshurst, Bramber Castle, Henfield, Holbrook, Horsham Hurst, Horsham Riverside, Horsham Tanbridge and Broadbridge Heath, Pulborough, Roffey, Southwater and Nuthurst, Storrington, and Warnham and Rusper.

There will also be by elections for the two newly vacated seats on Horsham District Council - Chantry ward, and Cowfold, Shermanbury and West Grinstead ward.
