Lib Dem defectee James Doyle is an Independent county councillor hoping to become the county’s first Green councillor this May.

But with the Liberal Democrat’s victory in the Eastliegh bi-election, upon reflection has he committed political suicide?

Mr Doyle is the subject of Theo Cronin’s THE INTERVIEW in next week’s paper, exploring his motivations for defecting from yellow to green, the rise of UKIP purple, and the potential demise of Tory blue?
