Tudor monarchs to take to Horsham streets
Christ's Hospital students.
Henry VIII, Elizabeth I and other Tudor monarchs will come to life in Horsham town centre this Saturday February 9.
Pupils and staff from Christ’s Hospital will be highlighting an exhibition about their School ‘460 years in the making’ currently on display at the Horsham Museum and Art Gallery.
Pupils wearing distinctive Tudor uniform will be in Horsham between 10.30am and 12.30pm in the Causeway and around Market Square where there will be singers and instrumentalists, along with science and snacks all themed around the period.
In the museum, children can also try on the school’s unique uniform and have their photograph taken with members of the Tudor Royal family.
Horsham Museum is free to enter and the CH exhibition is arranged in two galleries giving the public a chance to see artefacts, paintings, manuscripts and graphic panels, providing glimpses into the history and daily life of this fascinating school from its foundation 460 years ago to the present day.
