Teenager charged following Lancing knifepoint robbery
A boy has been charged after a knifepoint robbery in Lancing.
At about 9.20pm on Saturday September 22) a 16-year old visiting French student man was robbed at knifepoint of his mobile phone and a small quantity of cash, in Sompting Road, Lancing.
A 15-year old Worthing boy has been charged with robbery and possession of a knife in a public place.
A 15-year old boy from Bognor Regis who was arrested on suspicion of robbery, was released on police bail until October 21 while enquiries continue.
This offence is not being linked with two street robberies in Worthing in the early hours of Saturday.
