BACK by popular demand, Southwick Players’ adult variety show returns to the Barn Theatre.
The comedy show will include stand-up routines, comedy song and comic verse – all designed to have the audiences crying with laughter.
Publicity officer Sally Diver said: “After being hounded by our audience to return, Just for Laughs is back.
“It is guaranteed to put a smile on your face. If you’re a fan of comedy songs, sketches and jokes, then leave the children at home and head to The Barn Theatre for a night of comedy variety with a modern twist.”
Sketches by Victoria Wood, Rowan Atkinson and Woody Allen, to name but a few, will be among those to be recreated, alongside some original works.
Mrs Diver said: “The show was oversubscribed last time and sold out fast. If you missed out, then pick up the phone and get your tickets now.”
She is one of the ‘three amigos’ heading the cast, alongside H Reeves and Ian Churchill.
The same team headed up the Players’ last comedy night, in 2011, and they are delighted to be doing so again.
Funny man H has attracted some of the finest comedic talent in Shoreham and Southwick to present Just for Laughs, Again!, a comedy review show.
He said: “So, what is Just for Laughs, Again!? It’s something old, something new, something borrowed and in places a bit blue!”
The show is an adult comedy night and in some sketches, contains strong language and adult themes, so it is strictly not for children.
Just for Laughs, Again! will be performed at the Barn Theatre, Southwick, from Thursday, June 5 to 7. Performances start at 7.30pm. Tickets £10, available from the box office on 01273 597094, or online at www.southwickplayers.org.uk (no booking fee).
