Southbourne Library closes for revamp

Southbourne Library is set to close this Friday, January 18, to install new self-service machines.

It is the latest branch in West Sussex to get the state-of-the-art terminals – which help readers borrow and return books themselves.

The Library, on First Avenue, will shut from 5pm.

People can still borrow as many as 20 books or DVDs before the closure or use nearby branches in Chichester, Selsey and Witterings.

It will then reopen at 1pm on Monday February 11.

To find out more about the machines call the West Sussex Library Service on 01243 642 111 or visit at www.westsussex.gov.uk/libraries
