Selsey thefts lead to police warning

RECENT thefts in Selsey have led Sussex Police to issue a reminder to vehicle owners not to leave items on display.

Between 10pm on Saturday, March 9 and 9am on Sunday, March 10. a vehicle that was left unlocked in Otard Close, Selsey, was entered and DVDs were stolen.

Between 4pm on Sunday, March 10, and midday on Monday, March 11, a bag of food was stolen from a vehicle that was left unlocked in Marine Drive, Selsey.

A spokeswoman said: “Please remember to lock your vehicles and not to leave anything of value on display inside your vehicle.

“If you saw or heard anything suspicious or know anything about these offences, please call police on 101 quoting serial 0459 of 10/3 for the Otard Close theft and serial 0618 of 11/3 for the Marine Drive theft.”
