A CAMPAIGN for temporary black and yellow signs warning lorries not to follow their nat savs through the historic core of Midhurst has got the backing of West Sussex county councillors north of the Downs.

Midhurst Society chairman Sheila Ryan told the county local committee it was backed by the town council, which supported signs on the Chichester Road and also on the Petersfield Road.
