Police give crime cash to charity

Sussex Police has donated £5,000, confisctaed from the proceeds of crime, to charity Sussex Crimestoppers.
DCI Ali Eaton gave the cheque to the charity’s area manager Carolyn Randall and said: “The Proceeds Of Crime Act is a great tool to strip offenders of their assets and plough it back into our fight against crime.”
