Police find drugs in raid on Shoreham house

Police raided a house in Shoreham on Monday and recovered a quantity of illegal drugs.

During a search of the property, in Glebelands Close, quantities of what are believed to be class A, B and C drugs were recovered.

A nearby resident told the Herald: “There were so many police cars and the dog unit as well.”

She watched as they rammed down the front door of the property and said they were occupying the main part of the road for quite some time.

“It is quite a quiet area, normally,” she added.

A police spokeswoman said: “Officers from Shoreham attended an address in Glebelands Close, Shoreham, on Monday (February 11) to execute a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act.

“No arrests have been made at this stage.”
