Parliamentary visit
Youngsters who might be the politicians of tomorrow visited the Houses of Parliament.
Burgess Hill Youth Council is made up of two children from eight schools in the town and they meet every half term at the council chambers.
Mid Sussex MP Nicholas Soames has taken an interest in the work of the Youth Council and invited all the children to visit the Houses of Parliament to learn more about how the country is run. The children are said to have had a great day and to have been especially impressed by the House of Lords.
