Robert Dyas closed in Haywards Heath

Emergency services were called to Robert Dyas in Haywards Heath after a man collapsed outside today (Wednesday, February 6).

A spokesperson for Sussex police said: “He sadly died at the scene, it is not being treated as suspicious and the Coroners Office has been informed.”

Sheets were hung in the window of the shop in South Road with a closed sign hanging in the door.

A South East Coast Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “Two ambulances were called out as someone had collapsed in the store. We attempted to resuscitate but the person sadly died.”
