Lions fly high with charity donation
Horley Lions members make a donation of 5,000 to the Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance Trust
Members of the Horley Lions Club have donated £5,000 to the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance Trust to assist in the funding of a night flying service.
Lions Clubs nationwide have agreed to raise £250,000 towards this project. Horley’s donation came from the proceeds of the club’s annual Skittles Tournament. After visiting Redhill Aerodrome to make the presentation, a Horley Lions spokesman said: “We are delighted to be able to assist this very worthy charity that provides such a valuable service to our community.”
