A TEXTILE workshop helped pupils expand their work on rubbish and landfill sites.
Year three children at Glebe Primary School, in Church Lane, Southwick, spent last week learning about waste.
Today, textile artist Arthur Ridley visited the school to help them represent some of what they had learned in picture form.
He explained he felt it was vital to retain working with textiles in the school curriculum.
“Art and textiles affect you for the rest of your life, how you dress, how you decorate your home, your sense of colour,” he added.
See Thursday’s Shoreham Herald for a picture feature on the workshop.
