etc Gardens, Homes and Lifestyle Show is back for the third year running and is set to be bigger and better than ever before.

etc, the quality lifestyle monthly magazine covering the county, is produced by Johnston Press, owners of this website.

Held at the Brighton Centre on March 2 and 3, the Homes and Lifestyle Show focuses on the finer things in life, with experts on hand to give demonstrations, offering practical tips and advice.

Celebrity speakers include five AA Rosette and Michelin award-winning chef Jean-Christophe Novelli, the nation’s favourite builder Tommy Walsh, and TV star and celebrity DIY expert Craig Philips.

The event has gone from strength to strength, with visitor numbers doubling over the first two years. Last year saw more than 8,000 people enjoy the weekend.

Dianne Gill, divisional sponsorship, events and promotions manager for JP South Events, said of the event: “The etc Gardens, Homes and Lifestyle Show has grown each year with exhibitor stands and public attendance.

“This year the food hall is even bigger and we have introduced a children’s zone and beauty appointments are available within the women zone.”

She adds: “We are really excited to showcase so many amazing products over the weekend, there is something for everyone in your family.”

Chef Jean-Christophe Novelli will be at the exhibition on both Saturday and Sunday, sharing recipes, kitchen tips and taking questions from visitors.

The Saturday will also see Tommy Walsh making a welcome return to the show’s lineup while Craig Philips will be taking to the stage on Sunday to help people “do it yourself”.

Returning as headline sponsor is Brewers who will have live demonstrations and a beautiful display of paints and wallpapers over the weekend.

The exhibition includes up to 200 stands, over two floors with three rooms.

The result will be a unique shopping experience with everything from delicious food and inspirational interiors, to beauty treatments and eco initiatives on offer, plus much, much more.

The event is in conjunction with etc Magazine, the most widely distributed, complimentary lifestyle magazine in Sussex.

Editor Alex Jenkins said: “etc Magazine stands for Everything That Counts and this is exactly what you will find at this fantastic weekend event.

“We are passionate about helping people to make the most of their gardens and homes as well as finding the very best products for all the family, whether it is a treat for yourself or a loved one.

“With so many great businesses out there offering a remarkable selection of items we decided to bring everything under one roof – and with great success.”

The exhibition is supporting The Rockinghorse as our chosen charity, which has been looking after children for more than 40 years.

As the official fund-raising arm of the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital, and by supporting the Trevor Mann Baby Unit, the Brighton-based charity raises money for life-saving and cutting-edge medical equipment, while ensuring that children are treated in an environment better suited to their needs.

The Rockinghorse Children’s Charity will be at the show so make sure you head to its stand in the kid’s zone where charity supporters will be doing face painting and balloon modelling.

The event runs from 10am until 5pm on Saturday, March 2 and 10am until 4pm on Sunday, March 3.

Tickets for the show can be bought on the door or in advance. Adult tickets cost £10 or £8 for concessions (OAP, disabled with carer). Children 16 and under enter for free.
