Three arrested over robberies in Crawley

Three people have been arrested over two linked robberies in Crawley.

The robberies took place last Friday (January 17).

The first was at 1.30pm in Arran Close in Broadfield, where a 19-year-old man was attacked by two people who stole two phones and his bike.

He suffered facial injuries.

At 10.30pm a 24-year-old man was robbed of his phone while at Furnace Green Parade.

He was uninjured.

Two boys aged 17 and an 18-year-old man, all from Crawley, have been arrested on suspicion of robbery and have been bailed until March 23 while investigations continue.
