A BUS company has launched an internal investigation after a man was knocked unconscious and required medical treatment after falling on one of its services last Wednesday.
Mark Chandler, 46, of Durrington, fell and hit the back of his head off of a step on a Stagecoach Pulse bus while on his way to work.
Passengers on the bus had to shout at the driver to stop as he was unaware of what had happened.
Mr Chandler said: “I was turning around to get in the seat and he pulled off quite violently, and sent me flying.
“If they are going to make my journey more like running the gauntlet I’m better off driving myself. All I want when I pay my fare is a safe journey to my destination.”
