Jazz charity evening for Rockinghorse

A SHOREHAM woman is trekking the Great Wall of China for charity, despite knee problems.

Katherine Wilson, who owns Walk in Wardrobe Boutique in Hove, is raising money for Rockinghorse children’s charity.

She said: “I am trekking the Great Wall of China for charity from September 13 to 23, a personal challenge as I have two partial knee replacements.”

She chose Rockinghorse because she wants to support sick children and ‘give them a chance to be able to lead a happy and healthy life’.

A Wine, Cheese and Jazz fundraising event will be held at Suters Yard, in High Street, Shoreham, on Tuesday, July 8, at 7pm. Tickets are £15 from Walk In Wardrobe Boutique or via www.walk-in-wardrobe.co.uk and all the money raised will go to Rockinghorse and the Martlets Hospice.
