Car alight at Bolney petrol station

A car and approximately 10m of wooden fencing was damaged in a car fire at a petrol station in Bolney in the early hours of Sunday morning (December 15).

Emergency services attended the scene at London Road just before 6am.

The car was alight in the garage forecourt, and firefighters protected a diesel tank using a covering jet.

Three hose reels and four breathing apparuts equipment were used as fire crews from Haywards Heath, Hurstpierpoint, Crawley and Burgess Hill battled the flames.
