A Sussex Air Ambulance has landed at Millais school in Horsham
The Ambulance was deployed to the Horsham area at 2:50pm this yesterday afternoon (Wednesday 20).
Bystander Adam Sandle said the helicopter landed on the field at 3.10pm.
He added: “The on-board doctors were taken in a Land Rover followed by an ambulance. The helicopter took off about ten minutes later without any of the doctors returning. Ten minutes later, the helicopter landed again in the same field where it was met by an ambulance and the doctors from the air ambulance. A patient was on a spinal board and was in a neck brace and then the helicopter headed off in a northerly direction.”
Another bystander, Colin Hurd, said he believed the medical staff had gone to a home in the Comptons Lane area.
A spokesperson for South East Coast Ambulance Service said they had been called to a private address in the Horsham area and the Air Ambulance had been deployed.
