Last stand by campaigners fighting Angmering motor development

VILLAGERS from East Preston, Angmering, Kingston and Ferring will be demonstrating on Saturday morning (February 16) against plans by BMW and Mini dealer Chandlers to build a new showroom and workshops at Roundstone Farm, Angmering.

The protesters will gather at the site, beside the A259, at 11am, five days before the closing date for comments on the planning application to be made to Arun District Council.

So far almost 150 letters of objection have been sent to Arun. Ferring Conservation Group vice-chairman said the group was “pleased” with the level of opposition.

Almost 150 letters of objection have been written to Arun by individuals, campaign groups and East Preston, Kingston and Ferring parish councils.
