Hurstpierpoint meeting on housing plans

Hurstpierpoint villagers are expected to pack a council meeting tonight when schemes for more than 200 homes are discussed.

Hurstpierpoint and Sayers Common Parish Council has received applications for housing on land east of College Lane and land off Little Park and Highfield Drive.

The plans for more than 200 homes will be discussed tonight along with proposals to extend St Lawrence Church of England Primary School.

The parish council’s Planning and Environment Committee meets at 8.30pm tonight (January 24) at the Village Centre, Hurstpierpoint.

The council is anticipating a large number of people at the meeting, which will take place in the main hall.
