Heavy rain and freezing temperatures return to Horsham district

Heavy rain and a return to freezing temperatures are forecast for the next few days in the Horsham district.

Friday (March 22) is set to be particularly miserable with a mixture of heavy and light rain showers all day and temperatures of around 4degC.

Gusting winds of around 30mph will make it feel much colder, though.

Sunday (March 24) is forecast to be overcast all day but temperatures will drop to just above freezing.

Saturday could be the best day to get in the garden, with overcast conditions and 5degC temperature and little wind.

However, Friday’s rain could mean lawns and borders are likely to be very boggy.
