Plumpton Racecourse is using frost covers to avoid a third meeting loss in the past few weeks.

They are being laid today (Thursday) at the track at Plumpton Green.

The course is deploying frost covers for its entire track in preparation for its Monday meeting.

Doors open at 12 noon on Monday with the first race underway at 2.10pm.

The previous two meetings were lost because of waterlogged ground (pictured above) that also hit other sports fixtures.
