Ferring store is looking for the area’s most romantic couple

An appeal is being made by the Asda superstore in Ferring to find a local couple whose relationship has stood the test of time.

The store is on the hunt for the longest marriage in the area so that they can be given a special treat to make sure that this year’s Valentine celebration will be one of the most memorable.

As a thank you for taking part and for being an inspiration to all, the couple will receive an extra special hamper worth £200 to celebrate Valentine’s Day.

Martyn Gallon, general store manager at Asda Ferring, said: “Valentine’s Day is the most romantic day of the year, so we thought what better way to celebrate this than by treating a long standing local couple to a special gift from the store.

“We’re appealing to married couples in the community, who are celebrating many happy years together, to come forward and bring a copy of their marriage certificates to the store next time they are in doing their shopping.

To enter the search to find Ferring’s longest married couple please take a photocopy of your marriage certificate to the customer services desk at the store no later than Sunday 10thFebruary. Please include your name and contact details.

Long-standing couples can also be nominated by family, friends or work colleagues. Nominations also be made by Sunday 10 February and can be made in store at the customer services desk, sent via email to prasda@havasww.com
